CCII: TRG President, Akewula Extols Barrister Ajewole, Proffers Solution on Ibadan Development

The President of ‘The Royal Group’ (TRG) Ibadan also known as ‘Egbe Omo Oba Alade Ile Ibadan’, Prince Kamikun Akewula met with the President-General of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII), Barrister Ajeniyi Ajewole, on Friday in his office after the CCII general meeting at Ibadan House in Oke Aremo to appreciate his invaluable support to TRG and proffer solutions on development of the CCII.

Prince Akewula while addressing the PG, expressed his sincere appreciation to Barrister Ajeniyi Ajewole for his open and transparent form of leadership, which will go a long way to form the basis for further development of CCII and Ibadan.

He also advised the president on using an all inclusive government with the youth as active stakeholders in the activities of CCII.

“We came to appreciate you and the CCII executives on honouring and attending our invitation during the Club’s 19th anniversary held last month. We also want to use this moment to say we are fully behind your government as CCII PG, we believe you will lead the CCII to bring more development and success to Ibadanland.

“We will also advise the new leadership of CCII to practice an all inclusive government where Ibadan descendants from other states and countries as well as major stakeholders that are mostly youth be included in the running of affairs of the CCII.
The youth are the leaders of today and it is only proper to include them in all activities.

Barrister Ajewole in his reply said he appreciates the visit as he himself holds ‘The Royal Group’ in high esteem. He said his goal for CCII is to usher more development to Ibadan and he will strive to achieve that during his regime as President-General.

President Akewula made the visit to the President-General along with the Club Executive Secretary, Prince Oluwatobi Adisa; and Former Executive Secretary of the Club Prince Shittu S.M Olujide
