Nigeria @63: Hon. Olufemi Adebayo Rejoices with Fellow Nigerians, Calls for Collective Responsibility

An All Progressives Congress (APC) party chieftain, Hon. Olufemi Adebayo has felicitated with Ona Ara Local Government constituents and Nigerians both home and in the Diaspora on the occasion of the country’s 63rd Independence Day Anniversary.

In a statement made available to the press today 1st October, 2023, Hon. Olufemi Adebayo celebrates Nigerians for their tenacity and strong belief in the Nigeria dream and that Nigeria will soon be great again.

Having acknowledged the country’s remarkable progress and significant achievements made since gaining Independence in 1960, he noted that Nigeria is currently faced with myraids of challenges, to include poverty and it is incumbent on all of us to continue to keep playing our parts towards building a country we can all be proud of.

‘As we celebrate this year’s Independence Day, Nigerians should as a matter of fierce urgency be more intentional in electing people of integrity and vision-filled leaders who can birth a new Nigeria if we indeed crave for positive changes and to experiencing the promises of Oct 1st, 1960 again’, he stated.

In the statement, Hon. Olufemi Adebayo noted that in spite of our numerous challenges as a country, Nigerians should among several others celebrate the labour of our heroes past, our legendary resilience, enduring spirit of oneness and also reflects on the rich tapestry of Nigeria’s history, culture and diversity.’

‘As we rejoice in happiness celebrating our Independence Day, let us be reminded that a perfect nation is only possible when all hands are on deck. Nigeria needs all of us to become perfect, let’s be actively involved in building that perfect, great Nation. Happy 63rd Independence Day.’ He said.
