Nigerian Army Set to Release 200 Detainees Found with No Connection with Boko Haram

The army is preparing to release 200 detainees who have been found not to have any connection with Boko Haram.

The individuals were apprehended by the military during a period of heightened insurgency.

They will be given to the Borno State Government to help them fit back in with the community properly.

The gathering is scheduled to happen at Giwa Barracks in Maiduguri, the capital of the state, on Tuesday morning.
