Ona-Ara APC Local Meeting: Hon Olufemi Adebayo Pulls Support for Ismaila Oyetunde Akanni Ere

In a joyous atmosphere that was filled with All Progressives Congress Ona Ara executives, party leaders and party faithful who all gathered at Elekuro High School, Owode Bus stop today 24th February, 2024 for the party’s first local meeting of the year, Hon. Olufemi Adebayo, a staunch party chieftain in Ona-Ara local government was well received, welcomed and pulled support for Hon. Ismaila Oyetunde Akanni Ere, the party’s chairmanship candidate in the coming local government election.

It will be recalled that Hon. Olufemi Adebayo had publicly notified the state executives, leaders and members of the party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) of his return after careful reflections and consultations on December 15th, 2023 at the state office.

In a press release made available today by his Media Team, Hon. Olufemi Adebayo urged the good people of Ona Ara Local Government to vote in Hon. Ismaila Oyetunde Akannni Ere, a former chairman of the council. He emphasized that now isn’t the time for experiments and based on the current economic challenges, the council needs an experienced person with good antecedents which can be found in the former council boss.

While appreciating party faithful for their constant support for his ambition, he also thank God for the indescribable peace that now exist within the party in the local government. He further urged everyone to remain united to build a stronger party and work collectively towards achieving victory in the forthcoming local election.

‘I believe that experience counts a lot if we are intentional about having a more developed Ona Ara local government. I urge everyone to vote all APC candidates in Ona Ara local government. Hon Adebayo said.
