Tech Guru, Balogun Danjuma Bags Oyo State Tourism Ambassador Award 2024, Urges Youth to Go Out and Get Things Done

The Oyo State government on Saturday presented Mr. Danjuma Balogun with an Award of Excellence as the Oyo State Tourism Ambassador of the Year in a well celebrated Oyo State Tourism Summit 2024 held at the International Conference Center, University of Ibadan.

The highly anticipated 2024 International Tourism Summit, Oyo State included the Award segment which was tagged Governor’s Tourism Award saw the young business entrepreneur and highly versatile Tech Guru, Danjuma Balogun go away with the much coveted 2024 Oyo State Tourism Ambassador Award, which was keenly contested by key nominated tourism ambassadors.

In his post award remark, Danjuma Balogun who is already a mentor and team lead to many aspiring business men had few words to share when he advised many aspiring young men and women to stop doubting their capacity, to stop doubting people’s acceptability of their brand, ideas or products, but urged them to go out now and get things done. He said the world is waiting to crown you king.

“Sometimes you doubt yourself. What if they don’t like what I am doing? What if they will not come for my event? What will they say? What if they don’t buy my product? Soo many what ifs.” Danjo stated.

“I’ll tell you today. Go out and do things. The world is waiting to crown you king.” Danjuma ended.

It will be recalled that aside many enterprising and innovative business ideas, Mr Balogun was the brain behind organising the massive and ground breaking Ibadan Tech Expo which basically was an eye opener for Tech Innovation and Advancement in Ibadan. Ibadan Tech Expo was the first of it’s kind in the city of Ibadan.

Danjuma Balogun went also a step further in his net to organise the Ibadan Fuji Fest which was also a celebration of Fuji Festival in Ibadan. This was a rear feat with it’s many social benefits as it does not only aid in promotion of Fuji in Ibadan, but it also helped to showcase the array of massive talent and youthful acceptance of Fuji music across Ibadan.

It also creates a platform and network for talents to grow and businesses to thrive, whilst helping to shape and mold growing talents in the society.

Mr Balogun was victorious in a closely contested award which also had Ambassador Taiwo and Kehinde Oguntoye, organisers of the World Twins festival in Igbo-ora; Prince Sanmi Bamidele, investor and aquatourism promoter; as well as Erelu Funmi Rotiba and Omololu Olumuyiwa.
