X, formerly known as Twitter, has got the social media space buzzing following reports of the company rewarding creators for their content.
X launched this new payment plan in the United States of America in July and only recently extended this payment plan to verified global users. (Blue tick subscribers).
Many Nigerian content creators on the microblogging app have begun to receive payment from the microblogging networking platform. These payments are generated via X’s ad revenue-sharing programme.
To qualify for monetisation, X requires users to subscribe to Twitter Blue, own a Stripe payment account, and amass more than 15 million impressions monthly.
