It was a glamorous and joyous day on Saturday in Ibadan as ‘The Royal Group’ celebrated her ’19th Anniversary/Induction and Award Presentation’ in grand style.
The event which took place at The Rotary Club, Iyaganku in Ibadan was filled with prominent guests and high profiled personalities. The Executives of CCII were fully in attendance including the Barrister Ajeniyi Ajewole, the President General of the CCII.
Professor Oluwasegun A Adekunle, the Mogaji of Masokuta family was the Chairman of the occasion while Prof. Ayokunle Olumuyiwa Omobowale, a professor of Social, Context and Development Studies of the Department of Sociology was the Guest Lecturer.

The outgoing President of the club, Prince Musa Adebayo Busari-Akere was also honored for his outstanding performance as club president over the period of his tenure. His award as ‘Outstanding Achievement as The Royal Group President’ was presented by Prof. Oluwasegun A Adekunle.
Finally, the new Executives of the Club were ushered into their new dispensation when they were sworn-in with their ‘oat of office’ read by Prince Olawale Agbaje.
New President, Prince Kamikun Akewula also gave his official address as the new club president where he promised to set a new direction for the club and take the CCII club to a new level of progress, development and positive lasting impact on the city of Ibadan.
