Governor Mai Mala Buni has presented Food Baskets to more than 3,000 vulnerable Households in Jakusko Local Government Area to cushion hardships caused by subsidy removal.
The flagging off of the gesture in Jakusko marks the beginning of the distribution exercise in Yobe North Senatorial District. The Governor has recently flagged off similar exercise in Damaturu and Fune Local Government areas in Zone A and B of the State.
The Statewide distribution exercise is targeting over 80,000 vulnerable Households with more than 400,000 individuals across 14,500 Communities in the 17 Local Government Areas of the State.
