Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni has flagged off the distribution of assorted food items as palliatives to ease the suffering of the people due to subsidy removal.
The palliative distribution is targeted to reach about 3,000 vulnerable households in Yobe East Senatorial District where the flag off commenced.
The initiative is to target four thousand beneficiaries across the three senatorial districts of the state, with ten thousand bags of rice for distribution to indigene.
